A top quality line of heavy feeder steers sold to a market beyond vendors’ expectations. Backgrounders and weaners sold to a competitive panel of buyers as did quality lines of potential breeders.
Warren Fitzgerald, Beechmont, sold Euro cross steers three years for $2140. Euro cross steers 2.5 years from Callum McDowell, Moogerah, sold for $2040. Tin Horse Pty Ltd, Mt Lindesay, sold Droughtmaster cross steers 2.5 years for $2010.
Charolais cross steers two years account Graham Isbell, Coulson, sold for $1870. Kieran Richardt, Springbrook, sold Charbray steers two years for $1840. Droughtmaster steers two years account David Bruce, Tamborine, sold for $1820.
Tallara Pastoral Co, Gleneagle sold Charolais cross steers 15 months for $1560. Santa cross steers 14 months account Dean and Tanya Zurvas, Bunjurgen, sold for $1560. Braskin Pty Ltd, Maroon, sold Droughtmaster weaner steers for $1160.
